Every year PAACE wraps up Red Ribbon Week with a huge free event at Pop Harvey Park that we call “Family Fun Day!” This years Red Ribbon theme for 2022 is “Seas the Day, Live Drug Free! #YeahBuoy”
Family Fun Day attracts over 1,000 participants annually along with local organizations and agencies who set up activity booths where kids and parents earn raffle tickets that are placed in prize drawing containers. Prizes are drawn at the conclusion of the three-hour event, with winners taking home bicycles, video games, iPods, laptop computers and more! Prizes for Family Fun Day are donated by Red Ribbon Week sponsors as well as many local businesses like; Wallace Junior High Student Council, David Plunkett Realty, La Paz County Sheriff’s Department, Christ’s Church on the River, CRIT Behavioral Health Services, SMILE, La Paz County Public Health & Education Program (PHEPP), and Arizona Counseling & Treatment.
